As I was going through my blog and older posts that I hadn't published, I came across this wedding post that I never got the chance to post because my computer was acting up when I was loading the images. This was one of the very first weddings I photographed when I first started out in the Wedding Photography business. Even though it's a year and few months over due, this wedding and marriage can't NOT be shared. Enjoy!

Back in February I posted a sneak peak to the Durkin Wedding. I finally am catching up with all my "fashionably" late posts, and I am excited to finally be able to post more images from this gorgeous union between Andrew & Lisa.
This couple is the type of couple that reassures you that true love is out there and that everyone can have a happy ending. When I first arrived and found Lisa, she was absolutely glowing. You could just tell that she was so excited to finally be able to join Andrew in a life long commitment of marriage. They were both surrounded by people who truly cared about them and were just as excited for this union as they were.
Watching Andrew and Lisa exchange their vows is one of the most touching ceremonies I've witnessed in all the wedding's I have photographed. There was just something about this couple that made your heart swell up. I can't begin to describe how awesome it is to see two people express their love for God and dedicate their marriage to God. It was such a gorgeous ceremony. Love was in the air, and the love and happiness didn't end there. It carried into the reception where toasts were made, tears of joy were shed, and dancing and laughter was carried on the rest of the night. From bets that were placed between the groom and one of the groomsmen, to the beautiful toast of the bride's sister's, the cutting of the cake between Andrew & Lisa, the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance, to the Garter and Bouquet toss, and last but not least the continuous dance of all the weddings guests with the Bride and Groom. There was the Cha Cha Slide, the infamous Michael Jackson Thriller dance, and of course my favorite the long train of dancers that paraded all through out the room. Finally after one last dance, all the guests headed outside to wish Andrew & Lisa a "bubbly" farewell.
Andrew & Lisa's Wedding was such a gorgeous occasion and I wish them both continuous happiness and love in their future. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Durkin!
